Dear Parents & Guardians, With only 35 more days of teaching remaining until the end of this school year, we are picking up speed. This week, there will be two tests to finish up units in mathematics & social studies. Next week is also the official writing PAT - exam on May the 18th. Students will be working on the stories and news reports this week during LA time. On Thursday, I will write all parents 7 guardians a school messenger with 2 practice writing tasks which I encourage students to do over the weekend as additional practice. Dear Parents & Guardians, 1) Walking Field Trip On Thursday, April 28th, we will be going on our final walking field trip to Split-Rock / Confluence Park. Dear Parents & Guardians, Tomorrow is our Spring Concert for Division II. This is the first in-person concert since 2020! I am hoping to see many of you in attendance. The concert starts at 6pm sharp. Please send your children to class at least 15min earlier. I will open Room 15 doors at 5:30pm and am available for a 'meet & greet.' Math - homework: After noticing that some of the Grade Sixers need some extra practice time, I sent home an algebra work sheet with 18 questions involving unknown numbers.
