Dear Parents & Guardians,

  • I am sending home the student photos from picture day. You can order them online or return your form back to me.
  • Next week, there will be the grade 6 vaccinations.
  • Tomorrow for Halloween students are allowed to dress up as long as the costume is appropriate for an elementary school. We ask that masks and other accessories (e.g. weapons) stay at home.

Today in class we reviewed many social studies terms to prepare for tomorrow's test.

Here is once more the guiding principle for our Canadian representative democracy.

Freedom - Citizens have rights and choices (freedom of speech/believe/move)

Representation - Every citizen has a voice and votes for someone in government

Equity - Fairness - Everybody gets what they need to be successful

Justice - Law/Rules -ensure that rules are being followed and citizens are safe

There will also be a spelling test tomorrow on the words I posted on Monday.
