As you all know by now, today is our Division II Spring Concert!

The concert starts at 6pm sharp. Please be here 10-15 minutes earlier.

Send your child up to our classroom (Room 15). I will open my doors at 5:30.

The concert is about 45 to 60 minutes long.

Tomorrow we are having our monthly Pillars of Care Assembly.

Below are the students that have been nominated and chosen by their peers to win an award this month.

At this point, Parents of the award winners are invited to attend the assembly in person.

Please be here before 8:30am.

GRADE 6 Mr. Mueller

Care for Others - MahaaThanks to Maaha, many of her classmates benefit from her input in partner tasks.

If you have Maaha in your group, you can count on a reliable partner that helps you get the work done.

She has been doing a fantastic job in researching Ancient Athens with her partners.

Care for Learning - Hector

This young man has just recently joined us here at BHS.

However, Hector is willing to learn and give his very best.

For example, he has been able to improve his math skills, learn more English vocabulary and gather

knowledge of airplanes in science. Keep up the good work, Sir!

Care for Place - Victoria

Victoria’s desk tray and area around her desk are always spick and span.

She truly is a role model for cleanliness and organization. When she works elsewhere,

during group tasks, you can count on her that she leaves her area the way she encountered it.

Thanks for being a role model for others!

Care for Self - Sridhar Sridhar is a wealth of knowledge to begin with; however, when he encounters a challenge,

he does not shy away from trying several ways to find a solution. Especially when he learns

new skills such as writing news reports, he quickly picks up modelled skills and applies them into

his own work.

Pillar of the Month: - Anastasiya deserves the Resilience Award as she is new to Canada, and ergo, new to Beddington Heights.

Despite having to learn a new language, getting to know her classmates and a new way of teaching

& learning, she is trying her very best and already works at grade level in some of our tasks.
