Dear Parents & Guardians,

This 4-day school week will be another busy one for us here in grade 6.

1) Our spring concert will take place on Thursday evening at 6pm. You are all invited to attend in person in the gym. Students, please show up 20-30 min earlier.

2) We are going to have a math test on Friday to conclude the algebra unit!

3) It's almost June. This is one the of last calls for Baby Pictures for the grade 6 graduation in the second last week of school.

  Dear Parent & Guardians, Today I will just send out a few reminders and some information about the Food Drive that our school is participating in. 1) Spelling Test on Math words tomorrow, Friday December 3rd. 2) Last day to work on the science project in class is tomorrow as well. 3) Tomorrow - Science Quiz on Trees and Forests (20 Questions) to cover some of the parts of the unit the current project does not cover Our School is accepting food donations (non-perishable/ dried or canned) for the Mayor's Food Drive. If you go shopping and see a deal on any items fitting the category it is greatly appreciated if you sent  them our way.  If every student only brings 1 can we will gather over 400 cans in total for Calgarians in  need.

(scroll down) As you know, we are having Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday and Friday. Please book an appointment time if you wish to receive an update on your child's learning. In class, we have started to revisit our IRIS goals which each student set in November. Students will be sharing them with you during the interview.
