Dear Parents & Guardians,

This will be my very last blog message!

I want to say a big "Thank you" to all parents & family members for your support this year.

As mentioned in my farewell speech, I was always looking forward to every single

day of work with these  amazing students and young people!

My class did a great job in the difficult PAT exams. Of course  there were also some downs but many

more ups. You can read about their success and areas for growth in the CBE report cards.

As this will also be my las year at BHS, I also want to say a heartfelt "Goodbye" to a wonderful

community! I started out in 2017 and spent 5 years teaching in Beddington. My new assignment takes

me back to my roots, teaching at Crossing Park School (K-9).

Reminders:

1) Tomorrow is the last day of school! Report Cards will be online on MyCBE / Powerschool!

2) We are having a final year end assembly. All parents are invited. Below are our winners for the

10th round of the Pillars of Care! The assembly starts at 12:50 pm (please arrive 5-10 min prior).

Here are our room 15 winners:

Care for Others: Hannah has shown Care for Others by explaining tasks to her peers and helping out around the classroom.

No matter what you ask her to do, Hannah always is the first to volunteer.

She also was a great morning announcer and patroller this year.

Care for Learning: Tawkee - This young man is a hard-working student who always tries his best

in every task. He did really well on the PATs and achieved the dream score of 100% in social studies.

Keep up the good work, Tawkee!

Care for Place: Tessa - This month's Care for Place winner is Tessa. She always keeps her desk area

clean and brings back learning materials from the classroom’s group desk. No wonder she was the first

to have her desk tray cleaned up when it came to the year end desk clean out.

Care for Self: Alia - She deserves this award because she demonstrated Care or Self by advocating for

self and shining when it matters the most - in assessments.

Once you survive two years with Mr. Mueller as your teacher you truly deserve an award .

Pillar of the Month: Havana - This young lady is receiving the “Optimism” Pilar of the Month award.

Havana not only can look forward to a bright future, she can also look back at a very successful year

in grade six.
